A New Journey Begins for OC58

On September 29, California Career Institute welcomed more than 55 new Vocational Nursing students at the OC58 Orientation. The room was filled with excitement, energy, and plenty of new faces as students took one of their first steps toward pursuing a future in nursing.

Welcoming the Newest Members of the CCI Family

The newest members of the CCI family were welcomed by our Admissions Department before receiving an overview of what to expect throughout their program.

CCI’s Vocational Nursing Directors then walked students through the program, shared important information about the journey ahead, and helped prepare them for:

  • The classroom
  • Clinical experiences
  • The milestones they will encounter along the way

More Than a Career: A Calling to Care

For many, nursing is more than simply choosing a career. It is a calling to care for others, make a difference, and be there for people when they need it most.

Looking around the room at so many vibrant and enthusiastic new students, we were reminded that every nurse’s journey has a beginning.

What Lies Ahead for Our New Vocational Nursing Students

As they begin this new chapter, our OC58 students will face challenges, celebrate milestones, build new friendships, and develop skills that will continue to grow throughout their education.

We encourage each student to:

  • Take advantage of every opportunity to learn
  • Ask questions
  • Support one another
  • Remember the reason they chose nursing in the first place

The journey will require dedication and perseverance, but every class, lab, and clinical experience brings them one step closer to the healthcare professionals they are working to become.

Welcome to CCI

For OC58, that journey starts now. Welcome to California Career Institute!
