Vocational Nursing Instructor
Job Title: VN Theory/Clinical Instructor (Full-Time)
Location: California Career Institute Anaheim Campus
Salary: Dependant on experience
Job Description:
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Vocational Nursing (VN) Theory/Clinical Instructors who meet California Nursing Board qualifications to provide high-quality instruction in both theoretical and clinical settings. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a supportive and effective learning environment for our nursing students.
Requirements:
- Current and active RN or LVN license in the state of California.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as an RN or 6 years of clinical experience as an LVN.
- Proven didactic or clinical teaching experience.
- Must meet all regulatory and institutional qualifications.
- Approved by the Nursing Board to hold the position.
- Computer literacy and strong digital skills are essential.
- Must provide educational credentials such as a Certificate of Completion, school transcript, or diploma. For foreign qualifications, equivalency certification by a valid credential evaluation service is required.
Essential Duties:
- Follow and teach according to the clinical course syllabus provided by CCI.
- Prepare and implement daily course outlines.
- Record and manage student attendance, submitting reports to the Registrar and addressing attendance issues.
- Create a positive and proactive learning environment, offering individual assistance as needed.
- Use diverse teaching methods to maintain clear and consistent communication.
- Engage in the school’s retention strategies by maintaining a supportive mentor relationship with students.
- Objectively administer and grade exams to reflect student performance accurately.
- Keep detailed records of student performance, including grades and attendance.
- Uphold and enforce CCI rules and regulations.
- Regularly attend faculty meetings and participate in curriculum development.
- Recommend enhancements to course materials and facilities.
- Develop and maintain a professional development plan.
- Organize field trips, class projects, and guest speaker sessions to enrich learning.
- Instruct laboratory safety procedures when applicable.
- Participate in school functions and professional development opportunities.

Sr. Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor
Job Title: Sr. Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructor – (Full-Time)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Instructor who will be passionate about education, possess strong leadership skills, and have a deep understanding of the field of diagnostic medical sonography and cardiovascular sonography.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Cardiovascular Sonography, Healthcare Administration, or a related field/ successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound program.
- RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) credentials preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography or cardiovascular sonography, with at least 2 years hands on teaching experience.
- General understanding of program development, curriculum design, and accreditation processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a track record of fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in healthcare education and workforce development.
- Knowledge of documenting, assessing, and evaluating student learning outcomes.

- Impact curriculum, course materials, and program policies in accordance with accreditation standards and industry best practices.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to faculty and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in sonography courses, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and facilitate student understanding.
- Oversee retention efforts to ensure outcome targets are met.
- Oversee clinical education experiences for sonography students, including coordinating placements, monitoring student progress, and providing guidance to ensure compliance with clinical requirements.
- Coordinate with industry partners, healthcare facilities, and professional organizations to facilitate clinical placements and experiential learning opportunities for students.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes and program effectiveness, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Provide academic advising, counseling, and support services to students, assisting them in achieving their educational and career goals in the field of sonography
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accreditation standards, and lead efforts for program accreditation and reaccreditation.
- Collaborate with academic leadership and other departments to integrate the program into the overall educational mission of the institution.
- Stay abreast of developments and advancements in the field of diagnostic medical sonography and cardiovascular sonography and incorporate relevant updates into the program curriculum.

Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in cardiovascular sonography and a passion for teaching. This role involves providing comprehensive practical instruction and hands-on training to students, preparing them for successful careers as cardiovascular sonographers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead lab sessions and hands-on training for Cardiovascular Sonography students.
- Demonstrate and teach the use of cardiovascular ultrasound equipment and techniques.
- Create and implement lab activities that complement the curriculum and meet learning objectives.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to facilitate their development.
- Ensure a safe and efficient lab environment, maintaining equipment and supplies.
